Forum for Quranic Reflections
FiQR is a shared space for thoughtful, grounded engagement with the Qur’an as an ethical guide and intellectual resource for everyday life. It is not a lecture series, nor a traditional class, but a weekly reflective forum where verses are read slowly, discussed collectively, and connected to personal, social, ethical, and contemporary realities. FiQR treats the Qur’an not as an abstract text detached from the world, but as a companion to lived experience—work, injustice, care, doubt, responsibility, and hope. The emphasis is on humility, listening, and mutual learning. At its heart, FiQR is about restoring a relationship: between text and life, faith and practice, contemplation and action.
